 Australian Amanitas -
With a volva

The bulb of an Australian Amanita Amanitas have a sack or basal bulb
Amanita Fungi have free, pale gills, white spores & a  basal bulb, sac or other remnant of a veil that covers the whole cap when young & leaves patches or warts on the cap.

Australian Russulas - Brittle stems

Russulas are fungi  that grow with trees and have brittle gills or stems, no ring or web, white spores  and white to yellow gills that are attached to the stem.
